Cale has always been an avid reader, so I knew the September challenge would be a piece of cake. After reading through How to Talk to Anyone, Cale summarized the book with 12 specific tricks from the book that he can implement to be more confident, and to interact with others in a skillful way.

The October challenge is a knot-tying challenge. Cale will have to learn how and when to tie a square knot, bowline, and figure-8 knot. At the beginning of Lovett Legacy each morning, Cale will practice each of these knots and tell me when each would be appropriate to use. At the end of the month, in order to earn his badge, Cale will have to explain to Alissa when to use these knots, and will have to tie each of them blindfolded, and each of them underwater.
