Boys cling. Men adjust. This week’s focus was focused on the appropriate way to handle change. Cale has had some big changes in his young life: Traveling in an RV for a year, re-acclimating to normal school, leaving his elementary school friends and the Edmond North pipeline to attend Cimarron Middle School, changing houses a few times, etc.

Changes aren’t always easy, but Cale has handled them all like a champ. I was able to share my experience with one of the biggest changes in my life: my career change from teaching to A-1 Freeman.

We had some good discussions about the fact that throughout all of the seasons of life, and all of the changes that we experience, God is always the one constant.

We had to squeeze this week into just a couple of early mornings because Alissa and the kids left Wednesday morning to go to Costa Rica. Even though it was a short week for us, we enjoyed the time together and had some good conversations.
