Boys think short term. Men think long term. The final week of shift one centered around the idea of leaving a legacy. Every time you start a new chapter in life, you leave a legacy behind. We talked about the kind of legacy Cale wants to leave at Cimarron Middle School, Memorial High School, etc.

It was a great week wrapping up the life of Joseph, and completing shift one. At the end of Friday’s study, we continued working on our knots (starting to get the figure 8 knot down), and then I gave Cale an OU shirt and told him that we are going to Dallas for the weekend to attend the OU/TX football game and celebrate the end of shift one.
