Boys are passive. Men confront. “All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing.” – Edmund Burke

Over the past 15 weeks of Lovett Legacy, some mornings have dragged a bit. But not this week. This week was all about God (through Moses & Aaron) and Pharaoh going head to head. It was a pretty exciting week. Cale and I enjoyed reading about Pharaoh getting absolutely wrecked by God, and imagining if these plagues happened today.

Moses is an in inspiring guys. He left a life of peace with his wife, kids, and father-in-law to go and confront the most powerful person in all of Egypt. He went toe to toe with Pharaoh, standing up for people who were being mistreated. As men, we have a deep desire to protect the vulnerable. Cale and I talk a lot about standing up for the right thing, especially when it is difficult. We talk about being physically strong so that we can be ready to fight for others if we need to.

We had a great week and are now halfway through with shift #2 !
