Boys React. Men Prepare. God will use you.

We started the week by pointing out the fact that history quickly forgets famous people. Being famous, popular, well-known, etc. is fleeting. There isn’t necessarily anything wrong with those things, but in the grand scheme of things, they are unimportant.

What lasts is the legacy that you leave. Our popularity, good looks, athleticism will all fade. What won’t fade is the impact we make for the kingdom.

We also spent a bit of time talking about a surface relationship with God vs. a deep relationship with God. It’s easy to make Christianity a habit instead of something truly meaningful.
