Boys look inward. Men look up. God will remember you.

We wrapped up shift 3 this week by looking back at the two main ideas for this shift: Your life matters and should be full of significance. BUT, you are not the center of the story, so live with humility.

One of the questions we addressed this week was simply: What kind of man do you want to be? From the beginning of Lovett Legacy, we’ve focused on 5 traits: Character, Resilience, Integrity, Strength, Faith. This gave us a chance to go back over those 5 and what they mean for us in practice.

We talked a bit about peer pressure and making sure that we are not swayed by the opinions and views of the world. We also addressed how our society seems obsessed with celebrities and being sure we focus our attention on the right things.

This was a great 10-week study on the life of John the Baptist. Cale and I will begin shift 4 after Spring Break!
