Boys panic. Men accept. God will never leave us.

This week we learned that following Jesus doesn’t mean life gets easier, but it means we become stronger. Being a Christian puts us in the middle of a spiritual war, and resistance is part of the journey to manhood.

Like David facing King Saul, we will likely experience pushback from people who think it’s stupid / silly that we are Christians and take our faith seriously. Saul hated David because God was with him. But David didn’t fight back in bitterness. He trusted God and stayed faithful, even when it was hard. Real strength is choosing surrender and courage in the face of resistance.
