Boys cower, Men fight. God helps us fight.

This week we talked about the difference between shrinking back in fear and stepping up with courage. Bullies are real, and they use intimidation. (verbal, physical, online) to control others. But God calls us to stand firm and trust Him, not cower in fear.

We also talked about how important it is to never be a bully ourselves, and to treat everyone with kindness. We looked at the story of David and Goliath—not just a kid’s story, but a powerful reminder that with God’s help, we can have the courage to face anything life throws at us.

We also listened to an interesting Malcom Gladwell talk in which he posited that goliath possibly had gigantism.
