From Ease to Difficulty
Boys want a life of ease. Men are willing to embrace difficulty.
For the next 10 weeks, Cale and I will be studying the life of Joseph. Through this study, we’ll explore how Joseph navigated the many challenges in his life and how he consistently responded in ways that glorified God.

September badge/challenge
Cale completed his 750/750 challenge for August by knocking out 750 push-ups and 750 sit-ups before 8am throughout the month. He finished both on August 31 in the stateroom of our cruise ship while docked in the Bahamas. He also completed his music badge by doing a decent amount of singing at church, being able…

Ease to Difficulty: Week Four – Temptation

We looked at 5 different types of conflict which Joseph faced: He was misunderstood, rejected, betrayed, separated from family & his home, and lied about. We talked a lot about relationships with friends, family, and girls…

Ease to Difficulty: Week One – Ease to Difficulty
Week One went about as smoothly as I could have hoped for. I think a big part of success and longevity with this program will be establishing a consistent routine. Cale and I started each morning at 6:15am by doing 30 pushups and 30 situps en route to the accomplishing the 750/750 challenge for the…
